It would seem as a survey has made the general population aware of the “fear” of 2D women the Japanese woman in general have.
The battle against 2D love seems to be a hard one for women of Japan, who in general have fear they might not be able to save their beloved once or even successfully infiltrate an relationship if a 2D counterpart is present clearing all the potential opportunities for them.
The survey which asked if they themselves believed they could take on a 2D challenger in the ring of love, came out as a revealing mirror of the true insecurity Japanese women are faced with. 53% answered full heartedly that they would never even stand a chance whilst 47% answered the opposite and claimed they could take on a pixelated woman with minimal damage and a high success rate.
If such a situation were to somehow sprung up where the man suddenly took an interest in 2D women, 20% claimed they wouldn’t really mind such a scenario, whilst 45% said they would rather not see that happen and would want them to stop. Another 28% would rather live in the mist of ignorance and prefer their partner do this where their eyes would not see the truth. Only a mere 7% actually would take the liberty of given them an option of letting one go before the other, or dump them on the spot.
Here are some of the comments by the insecure women:
“There’s no way I can beat that level of cuteness.”
“Their personalities are nice and they have no flaws. Complete perfection.”
“They’re made to be the ideal girlfriend after all.”
“Because he has a manual any man can enjoy a game as much as he likes.”
And here are more comments but from the more optimistic crowd of women:
“A game can only play out as it is programmed to.”
“The girl in a game can’t offer the human warmth a real woman can.”
“The unpredictability of reality is a charm unto itself.”
“There’s no way a mere game could win against a real woman like me!”
The fear of 2D women does not seems to only extend to the women but as sociologists claims it could become a danger zone where no real relationships could developed, whilst others believe it is a next generation dating simulator being developed for the better. No matter what, it is clear that women won’t be able to deny the fact that whilst today it might be just a game, tomorrow it could be a full functional replacement whether it’s on the palm of your hand or walking right beside you on the streets in the form of the ultimate woman.
