Prison population is almost always populated by male members exclusively, but a recent report from UK has revealed that one quarter of their prison members are female, and the numbers are steadily increasing as the years pass, threatening to destroy the “image” a maiden should have, they say.
England’s Home Office indicates that the arrest of English and Welsh women (often dubbed as “thugettes”), who often engaged in drunk or disorderly conduct, has had it’s percentage risen in “violence against the person”, from 37,000 to over 88,000 in ten years, with about 240 arrests a day.
The blame has gone to UK’s drinking habits, as well as bar owners who allow any entry and give discount to singled out women left outside of their “group”.
“We have had our concerns for some time. We have seen a degeneration of behaviour on our streets over the past ten years,” said a ranking member of the Police Federation, “and where once young women had a calming effect on rowdy men, we increasingly see them involved in the violence.”
