Everyone would imagine it would be safe to ride a train, after all it is littered with people. But that’s not the case for seiyuu Ayana Taketatsu, familiar to many as the voice of Azunyan of K-ON fame.

According to Ayana Taketatsu herself she she was being peeped at by an male “predator”, believed to be an otaku. This was occurring during the one of her usual train rides in Tokyo’s subway system. Feeling uncomfortable solely knowing that she was being looked at strangely, she eventually found out that the peeping tom also was filming her.

She shared this on her twitter:

“Hmmm, this is most suspect. I may have been the subject of a peeping tom on the Fuktoshin line. And using video…

He shouldn’t have got my pantsu or anything, he seemed to be just filming me sat down. What can you do about this?”

“I should have filmed him back!! Maybe that would have been good proof of what he was up to!! But that’s a crime as well… Sorry. I was hungry, I couldn’t think properly. Curse my appetite.”

Under normal circumstances this would both be creepy and understandable, much due to her fame. But in the case of Japan, it is actually a crime to photograph anyone (especially a woman) without the proper consent. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that the the end result of this encounter resulted in a report to the authorities.

The online reaction is mixed as usual, some take it serious, other simply brush it off. Questions have also been raised whether it was an obsessive otaku which “stalked” her in the subway or just a perverted man taking interest in attractive pretty girls.

Google is on the hunt after a piece of the Japanese browser market and has cleverly hired one of the more popular virtual idols, Hatsune Miku, in order to have more of an impact.

The browser market in Japan isn’t as competitive as in the western world due to the populations refusal to stray away from the Windows OS built in Internet Explorer. Due to this 50% of the market share belongs to Internet Explorer. But Google is looking to gain some of that using their very own popular browser Google Chrome.

To achieve their goal Google has hired Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. But as their ace in the game they have managed to hire the virtual diva Hatsune Miku, and together they have produced the following marketing video:

The ever so expansive adult market in Japan has reached a point where it it said for every 200 woman, 1 of those women are no doubt included in some form of adult entertainment. The previous estimation the year before (2010) claimed it to be 1 out of 500.

Though nothing can be confirmed, the numbers doesn’t seem to be entirely wrong, or at least not doubt worthy. Especially when you consider that whether it may be legal, underground or even online, everyday there is 100 new adult entertainment made in Japan.

The number of AV titles produced annually, if we include online and underground videos, is said to be in the region of 35,000 titles.

Simple arithmetic suggests 100 videos a day are being released.

Since we see from 2,000 to 3,000 new AV girls making their debut each year, it’s said that 150,000 women have worked in the industry.

There are some 30 million women aged 19 to 55 in Japan, so the 150,000 performers give us the rough “1 in 200″ figure.

The Japanese online community seems to be split about the subject. Some claim it is obvious, whilst others lean more towards a feminist attitude.

Scandal diva queen Aya Hirano has once again changed her looks, but former fans cannot help but to think of her new change being tasteless and out of fashion so much so her looks portray her as “old”, and not young and attractive as her previous silky black hair look once did.

Super scandal idol Aya Hirano has, just as she swore to do, returned to her previous line of work as a voice actor.

Aya Hirano has been less than busy as of late as the aftermath of her scandalousness affair with not one but an entire harem members. As result, she was kicked out by her agency and as fans became ever so disrespectful of her mere existence, she was also left in the shadows in terms of further work opportunities. Many were sure she would never be seen or heard from again.

But that all that seems to be changing as she not only managed to snag one part as a voice actor, but in fact four, and was not too shy to tweet that for all the world to know on her twitter page.

Japanese Idol and Seiyuu worshipers are suggesting a motion to ban their angels from having any involvements with individuals of the opposite sex in order to keep their virginity in check.

Idols and Seiyuu have a huge following from fans who discover them. Seiyuu are mostly known for their voice appearance in an well known Anime series, whilst Idols market themselves as the product in order to sell anything they promote, and fans are more than willing to lose themselves in both of their lovely innocent appearance.
So to keep their purity in check without the opposite gender ruining anything for as long as possible it has sprung up a need for safety precaution with a law binding prohibition which doesn’t leave any room for Seiyuu nor Idols to involve themselves in any kind of relationship, whether it may be through dating or marriage.

This movement of course ignited after the reveal of Aya Hirano’s secret harem, and Ayana Taketatsu’s love life was supposedly brought out in the open.

The proposition to keep their 2.5D Idols more holy is this:

Female seiyuu are 2.5D, they are angels.

So naturally they must be virgins, and it is out of the question for them to have anything to do with men.

It’s a given that female seiyuu be virgins.

Female seiyuu have to be treated as holy ground.

They mustn’t date or marry.

Ones like that must quit being seiyuu!

The law ought to ban female seiyuu from marriage or dating.

Of course, being a virgin would be a requirement.

Compulsory virginity inspections of all female seiyuu should be mandated by law. Only those with virginity certificates can be allowed to be voice actresses.

Those who date or marry men without permission need to be punished by the law.

Some agree whilst others thinks it is a private matter all together, however the idea of having to have fooled their most loyal fans is definitely a no no.

Fans of the hugely successful moe giants K-On! and My little sister can’t be this cute, has been utterly destroyed over the fact that the seiyuu (voice actor) Ayana Taketatsu that voices not only Azunyan’s voice but also Kirino’s, has been found standing next to an unknown man now believed to be her boyfriend.

The controversy began once a purikura photography with the two of them casually standing next to each other leaked onto 2ch.

Those familiar with purikura know that it is a popular way of taking photography for both schoolgirls and couples alike, making this all the more believable to the already slightly convinced crowd.

Reactions from fans has as expected been an explosive one with many of the feelings going either towards abandonment, mockery of fans or general distrust for the seiyuu.

The former Morning Musume and now troubled 23-year-old Ai Kagowas found by an employee of her management company with shallow cuts on her wrists whilst on the floor barely able to stay conscious. She had apparently called the company, Mainstream, just to make them know she was going to end her life, to which the employee went on high alert and rushed over to her apartment at about 11:55am on September 11 .

She was quickly rushed to the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center in Hiroo where her condition has been nursed back to health.

Police say that Kago was diagnosed with acute drug intoxication from an overdose, believed to have been tranquilizers.

Her actions are believed to derive from her 44-year-old boyfriend Ando Haruhiko being arrested last Tuesday for running an “prostitution ring” for elite Tokyo businessmen and celebrities. He had also been charged for using his connections with Japan’s top notorious yakuza organization, Yamaguchigumi, to get out of a ¥20 million debt.

Her management company has advised her on several occasions to end her relationship with Ando, but Kago refused. During her hospitilization Kago refused to let Mainstream’s president Itoh Kazuyuki visit her.

Ai Kago, although being very talented, has not been known for anything else but a troubled individual. She first made her debut as one of the rising stars of Morning Musume at only age 12. She was fired from the group in March 2007 for repeatedly failing to act on the agency’s request to stop smoking, in order to save her image as a pure idol. She has since came publicly forth with her suicidal tendencies and the fact that she cuts her wrists.

Adding more fuel to the already well burning fire of Hirano’s career and hatred from fans, a Japanese gossip rag published a picture what they claimed to be Hirano herself in a fellatio service.

However, whilst people have grown accustom to the idea of an out of control harem building sexual harassing Aya Hirano. Much about this picture isn’t sitting well with the 2ch crowd.

In previous leaked images, 2ch has been in strong speculation whether or not the images were in fact real or not. They analysis (hugely thanks to the mole) led them to conclude that the pictures leaked earlier were real. This however, doesn’t have the trademark mole, thus considered to be fake, and quite possible came from an AV scene by the looks of the picture.
