An 21 year old man got arrested in Mito City for mass theft of schoolboy baseball and soccer uniforms. The man has admitted to have stolen from atleast 40 different individuals, making it about 300 different uniforms.
Upon further investigation it was revealed that he has also broken into an office worker’s home multiple times and stolen numerous of items including uniforms, a computer and family photos. Estimated to be worth roughly ￥220,000.
He was also recently caught breaking into a woman’s house and injuring her with a stun gun which he was shortly arrested for when locals called for police.
It’s still not clear what exactly made this man steal so many boys sport related uniforms, if it just was an urge or something much greater.
