Schoolgirls taking pictures of themselves can be arrested? Yes, it has happen before and it did happen, again. Three group individuals, specifically, three girls, all members of Chiba high school, decided to earn quick money.
Each girl, aged 17 and 18, decided to go the easy road rather than taking an arubaito, they turned to prostitution. With the countless available, and not so available dating sites (enjo-kousai), existing just for the soul purpose of making such trades possible. The trio took pictures of their underwear and their nether region using none other than the magical wonders of an keitai (mobile phone).
It all showed to be a successful draw from the part of the three trio, as they were contacted by an 22-year-old customer. However, he in his turn seems to have not been able to cover his steps, and therefor was under investigation by the police for similar cases.
Needlessly to say, they were all exposed, and about 100 pictures of the three were taken by the girls themselves, how many of them which were explicit, is not made clear, but it was enough to count them as a threat to themselves, and therefor were all three charged with supplying child pornography. Their logical answer to all of this:
“just wanted some cash as the summer holidays were coming up.”
The three had also been supplying people with their own pantsu, in order to “gain” money for the summer.
While, that in itself would seem highly foolish excuse, one have to remind themselves, there exist worse.
