A 36 year old mother and a 47 year old stepfather forced their 16 year old daughter to prostitute when confronted with the phone bill which she apparently was responsible for.
That was in 2006, in 2007 February she was spotted making a late night visit to a love hotel with a male companion who paid her in cash (¥12,000) afterwards, which she paid into her stepfather’s bank account almost immediately.
The day after, she was at it again, hard working as ever. She met another man, 34 year old who in September had been prosecuted for knowingly retaining the services of underage prostitutes. This was apparently, the moment of which the family business got unveiled.
Investigations by the police revealed that the girl in question had been forced into it all by her very own parents.
Both parents were arrested for violation of child welfare and anti-prostitution laws, additionally both were also charged with possessing controlled stimulants.
