猫耳 / Nekomimi, also known as “Cat Ears” or “Cat Girl”, is the kind of moe moeness that borrows it’s attractive appearance from the clear visual appeal of animals, in this case, cats.
Just simply another one of those complexes people have, those who might not understand, clearly won’t until they somehow developed a passion for them. Nekomimi’s has sponsored themes for a ton of 3D AV’s and 2D hentai manga’s (with of course 2D being the most popular), and eroge, but rarely is it ever found in hentai-anime.
There are of course other animals you one can “cosplay” as, but in this case, we will keep it to Neko (cat) Mimi (Ear).
