Minori Chihara is a brocon, or rather, a person who seems to have some sort of deep connections to her fresher younger brother.
It’s nothing uncommon, to hold ones sibling dear to ones heart. But unfortunately for this seiyuu/idol, 2ch has already decided her fate to be, and the attraction just becomes a lot more intense when also being made aware that Minori Chihara is the official voice of Nagato.
Yet, how does one go from being a loving older sister to a otouto-maniac? Easy, all that is needed is some sort of verification which with the right minds can be describing an whole different scenario, and thus similar has been done on one of the blog commentaries from Minori Chihara herself, on her very own blog:
“What I was personally most pleased about this time was getting to sleep with my little brother. We talked about all kinds of things! ♥ ♥ ♥”
But this is not all, there has been more of her brotherly love swarming the blog, going from “As ever I just love my little brother,” “Of course, the wallpaper on my mobile is of my little brother,” “I got to spend the whole day with him – delightful,” to “Today was my little brother’s birthday!”
There is no doubts that this kind of love is genuinely positive to have towards ones own sibling, and maybe doesn’t indicate any deeper commitments, yet 2ch cannot do anything but to envy that little rascal.
However, this not the only seiyuu known for indulging in too much brotherly love, as even Shiho Kawaragi, notorious for being a part of Summer and School Days have been spotted claiming similar passions for a younger brother:
She has a little brother 8 years younger than her (she is now 34, he 26)
She begged her parents for a little brother and was fortuitously granted her wish
She freely admits to being enthralled by him on net radio programmes (which she dubs “Super Otouto Time”)
For a time she listed her hobbies as “otouto” on her agency page.
She has written “of course it’s ok to wear his swimming trunks” and “I like him so much I’d lick him”
Like Chihara she set her brother as her phone wallpaper, until he told her to stop as she’d never be able to get a boyfriend
She got into her brother’s bed to warm it up for him, but fell asleep there
She claims to have a preternatural ability to sense her little brother, even being able to sniff him out on a crowded train
Although the above stating the otherwise, she has claimed during production of an incest OVA where her protagonist actually were involved in sexual activities, to never dare to go that length and it even being disgusting in many ways. Even taking a bath together with your brother is going a bit too far, she states. Something one must question when reading upon the facts about her listed above.
