A homeless man in Taiwan known as Huang was looking for an house to rent on a website, a landlord agreed to meet with him. After showing around the house, Huang suddenly attacked him brutally with a vicious hammer, the landlord (male) died instantly.
Huang then looked through the mans private documents, located his address and paid a visit to the mans family. There he pretended to have been sent by the man both tricking the wife and the son, which he later attacked the same way, but he himself got injured this time.
Huang was sent to the hospital, ironically, the same one both the wife and the son were sent to for treatment. When the two of them described the man, the nurses immediately called for police assistance.
Upon his arrest, Huang blamed the Manga 銃夢 / GUNNM for his crimes. He said he was “trying to pass his misfortune onto others by killing”.
