Yasuhiro Nightow’s epic series Gungrave, is to receive an live adaptation by Hollywood, or more specifically Convergence Entertainment, has been announce. The very same name which delivered us King of Fighters.
The production of this Live action adaptation, will start next year, with the budget of $30 to $35 million, with the help of Asian “connections”. Convergence Entertainment has also hired Red Entertainment’s Yasuaki Nagoshi, to produce the movie.
One can do nothing but hope this will turn out as expected, considering the series Gungrave has not only gathered a fanbase through it’s PS2 game titles, but also the anime adaptation which had a variety of themes packaged, from gangster action to sci-fi shooting. Making it quite legendary in it’s own sense.
