The now quite famous feminist group, Equality Now, as mentioned last time, is strongly against Japan and how they take use of their games in a theme based manner, even going as far as claiming Japan to poisoning rest of the world with it’s filth, and must be stopped.
Now even with a female legal representation present in Japan, (they got no actual office there), they plan on continue their plans of censoring:
“In Japan porn is insipid, finding its way even into the homes of common folk, and there is much depiction of rape in these works. For some years now, this has been a source of concern to overseas human rights groups.”
Ignoring the fact that the group Equality Now only have been exposed to Rapelay, the group claims they are concerned about Japans influence on other countries through their erotic “art”.
Which according to the legal representant, gives the feminist group the right to dictate what and may not be published in Japan, as in their mind, Japan is poisoning the rest of the world.
“[The games may be made for domestic markets, but with the Internet they might find their way overseas.] It is thus becoming more than just a national issue.”
