A survey has presented the fact that Japanese gamers own more of the forever beloved Dreamcast consoles from SEGA, than the console which Microsoft has been hard at work to try to sell to the Japanese gaming population.
The survey had 1,073 Japanese gamers participating with different gender all the way to the age 50. Like expected the general gaming population seems to be lesser fond of the next generation XBOX console than of any other current gen and even some old timers such as the Dreamcast. Only 5% of the participants owned the XBOX 360 console.
All taking part in the survey did at least own one console and 62% owned a DS, 57% a PS2, 44% a Wii, 30% a PSP and 25% a PS3.
Whilst the Japanese gaming population as always seem to be favoring Nintendo over the rest, 57% has admitted to a feeling of unsatisfied lust which the developers doesn’t seem to be able to keep at bay.
