Milk powder in China seems to have a strange effect on girls of 15 months to 4 years old where their hormone level are skyrocketing from what usually is expected, to that of an adult woman, rendering much early stages of breast development within the girls bodies.
The source of this issue seems to generate from misuse of hormones in cows, where farmers do this to increase the level of milk they can produce. Such a practice, although being very illegal in many countries (except the US) have no law against it in China making it perfectly legal for farmers to use sets of tools in order to make a profit.
It would also be noteworthy that the law on banning this method in the more developed countries did not come out of a wish fulfillment of having people to stay clear of it, but cows as they would be more harmful to it’s effect than humans.
Yet in this case it seems to go both ways.
A Hubei doctor has gone out to advice parents to stop feeding their young ones with any formula until it has been correctly analyzed to be safe and also to prevent further development.
The company thought to be behind this, Synutra, claims that their milk is anything but unsafe. If this is true, one can only wonder what the Chinese put in their milk.
