What do you as a police officer do when a ten year old girl refuses to bath on your demand? Taser her of course! A mother in the US decided to call for assistance after her 10 year old girl has refused to take a bath. As expected an officer soon joined them in their fight.
But of course, the police officer decided to take the mothers side as she tried to drag her inside the bathtub while the girl at the same time was “kicking and verbally abusing her mother”. The police officer saw it as no other option than to taser the girl after she had once kicked him too. While everyone was happy that the girl finally calmed down and stopped her crazy way, her father however wasn’t. He had a hard time understanding why a police officer tasered his 10 year old daughter.
“Ten years old and they shot electricity through her body, and I want to know how the heck in God’s green earth can they get away with this.
If you can’t pick the kid up and take her to your car, handcuff her, then I don’t think you need to be an officer. She doesn’t deserve to be treated like a dog. She’s not a tiger.”
With the way of handling the situation was enough to make the father not to wonder why even a police officer would be dispatched to take care a trifle matter as this.
What is however surprising is that the head of police did not want to do further investigations which could or could not be a situation for the officer, saying that he either had to choose between tasing her or break her arm while trying to handcuff her.
“We didn’t use the Taser to punish the child, just to bring the child under control so she wouldn’t hurt herself or somebody else.”
The girl whom of course still is 10 years old is aces charges of disorderly conduct after she resisted an police officer.
